Caemlyn is now in a big girl bed. I was not really looking forward to making this change. She was still doing fine in her crib, not even trying to get out of it. And I really thought that she would never stay in a big girl bed to go to sleep. But, I was wrong! She has been in a big girl bed this past weekend, and has being doing awesome. She goes to sleep right away and even leaves Addison alone (they share a room).
And the next thing to go, is the pacifier. We couldn't find any binkies last night so it was a perfect time to get rid of them. I knew this was going to be hard. Caemlyn is very attached to her binky. She only cried for about 45 minutes until she fell asleep. And she did wake up very early this morning and refused to go back to sleep without her binky. I think this is going to be a rough week!
The next thing is potty training. I had no desire to potty train Caemlyn or even start until after the baby was born, and she was closer to three. But, she has decided that she loves sitting on the potty. She asks to sit on the potty when she wakes up, all throughout the day, and before she goes to bed. I was ignorning her at first, but then she would just go and sit on the potty by herself. So I decided to just potty train her since she is so interested in it right now. She has never actually gone on the potty yet, but maybe that will happen soon!

You must have gotten a new bed for Addi. Fun for Addi, too!
Those are all such rough things. I'm not planning to try potty training with Keller until the end of summer at the earliest. Sometimes it really is just easier to have 2 in diapers. Yah, good luck and have fun with the rest of it. Keller appears to be trying to give up his naps now and I'm not going down without a fight.
p.s. Do you mind if I steal some of the pics from while the kids were there and post them?
I would definitely keep fighting for nap time. I am not ready to lose that yet! Good luck. You can use whatever pictures you want from my blog, I don't mind at all!
Wow those are some big milestones! You are lucky she wants to potty train already. Hopefully you all get some rest tonight!
Good luck with potty training!
