This past Sunday, my friend had my girls over and made them cute little Christmas angels. She did their hair and dressed them in the cutest dresses!!

Baking holiday cookies and playing in snow

This past Saturday, my sister and I made 368 cookies - 7 different kinds. It took us 12 hours to bake every cookie, but we had fun doing it. I don't know if we will do it again next year!!

In Marjory and Joseph's neighborhood, the association had a snow day and Santa Claus! Ben and Joseph took the girls to play in the snow and meet Santa.

Temple lights

We went up to the Phoenix temple with our friends to see all the pretty Christmas lights. The girls liked seeing all of the lights and drinking hot chocolate. I am glad that we were following our friends up to Phoenix since both of our headlights went out while we were driving. We had to make an unexpected stop and fix our headlights. That was fun!

Addison's "octopus" course

Addi's preschool invited the parents come watch them do an obstacle course, or as Addi says it "octopus course". It was really cute!

My first 10K :)

I ran my first 10K in November! It was such an awesome experience and I am so glad that I did it. My friend, Jen, helped me with my training and wrote up a training schedule for me. She also was the race director and put the 10K/half marathon together. She did a fantastic job! I started training by myself and then recruited my friend, Lindsay. It was a lot of fun training with her and we have become such good friends. My legs definitely wanted to give up towards the end of the race, but Lindsay kept me going. I was so glad that she was running with me and didn't let me walk :) Marjory and Joseph were so nice to come watch Addi and Brooklyn while I ran! Ben stayed at home with sick Caemlyn.

Thanksgiving

We went to my sister's house for Thanksgiving. We had lots of yummy food and lots of fun. My sister did an awesome job of cooking the turkey (first time cooking a turkey)! Unfortunately, Caemlyn did have a fever of 104.2 in the evening and was sick for a long time after that. I am just glad that she is well again!

My baby girl is 5!!!

One day I will be all caught up on my blog...

Last month, my baby girl turned 5! I cannot believe that I have a 5 year old. Addison is such a sweet girl that just wants to make Mommy and Daddy so happy (which she does). I love her creative mind and all the cute things she is always coming up with. She is a HUGE help to me and a great big sister. We just love her so much and so glad that she is part of our family :)

On November 16th, Addison celebrated her birthday. She was so excited for her birthday to come. She has been asking me about her birthday for several months. And once November came, she started counting the days down. This year, Addi chose to go to Build a Bear with a friend and go out to lunch. It was her first time even going into a Build a Bear store. She is hooked! Now I have to take Caemlyn on her 3rd birthday, because she keeps stealing Addison's build a bear :) We also had a family party for her. Her aunts and uncles were able to come and celebrate with her. She was very excited about all the presents. Addi had a great birthday and is so glad to be five. Now she tells me that she is almost 6.

Halloween activites

We had a fun Halloween. The girls were very cute witches. Addi kept trying to decide if she was a nice witch or a mean witch. I made the girls matching black and pink tutus to wear with their costumes. The night before Halloween, we went to the elementary school's trunk-or-treat. Ben was working, but we found some friends to hang out with. On Halloween, we went to our ward's Halloween carnival. The girls had lots of fun playing games and winning prizes. I was able to take the girls trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Ben stayed home with Brooklyn and passed out candy.
