Reid Park Zoo

We took the girls to the zoo and they loved it. Here are some pictures from our family fun times.

Anniversary trip

My mom is awesome and flew down to Tucson to watch Addi and Cam while Ben and I went off for three days to Phoenix. We loved our hotel, which had a water park that was nice. We saw a bunch of movies in the theater, walked around IKEA (forced Ben to do that), went roller skating at an indoor rolling skating rink, and hung out at the water park. The trip was a blast and having a break from every day life was nice. The girls really enjoyed having grandma watch them and I know my mom loved it! I do have to say that when I got the phone call from crying Addison asking mommy to come home...I did feel loved!

We played racquetball at the athletic club that the hotel had. We practiced in our room first...

Obviously I do not keep such a close eye on my kids like I should. Addi did her homework for preschool and she got to pick a treat from the treasure box. She chose this nice little stamp.

It soon was all over her from head to toe. She even stamped her belly button, ear, each elbow, and the bottom of her feet. While I was not watching my kids, Addison managed to stamp her closet door, the wall, her bed, Cam's bed in several places, the toilet, the tub, the bathroom cabinets, and a door.

She even stamped Caemlyn on the forehead!

Happy Anniversary

Splash Park Fun

We hung out with our friends, Jody, Tyler and Aiden, today. We went to the splash park, but the power was out throughout the whole park from the huge storm so it wasn't working. The kids found other ways to entertain themselves and keep cool! While we were playing, Aiden started standing up all by himself for the first time.

Breaking Dawn update

I had a request to post what I thought about Breaking Dawn.

I finished reading Breaking Dawn last night and I loved it! Probably my favorite book in the Twilight Series. Thats all I can say about it till everyone reads it. Now go read it!!

Family update

I thought I would give you a family update...


Caemlyn will be 18 months old this week. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. I really like that she is in nursery now, no more chasing Cam in the halls of the church. She is trying so hard to talk. She has said a few small phrases like, "There it is", "Right there", "Please", "I love you". She also signs what she wants to us all the time. Cam loves playing with her big sister and copies everything that Addison does. I do have to keep my eye on Caemlyn constantly. She is always getting into trouble from bathing in the toilet to climbing on top of the kitchen table. And she is extremely clumsy and is always falling down and getting hurt.

Addison is almost four and started preschool this week. She loves going to school and going to her primary class. Addison new favorite phrase right now is "Guess what", which she says all day long to us. She spends her days playing with Caemlyn, coloring, and wearing princess clothes.

Ben sprained his ankle at work last week and is currently on light duty. And I am just into sewing and making new things right now. We are not as interesting as our kids :)

Celebrate good times

We were able to celebrate my sister's birthday and have a little farewell for my brother. Joseph did a really great job in planning Marjory's birthday and it was really nice to see Ray for a little bit before he gets deployed for six months.
