Hiking at Mt Lemmon

We went up to Mt. Lemmon and went on a hike with the girls. The weather was perfect. Addi wasn't too sure about actually hiking. She just wanted us to carry her, but we made her walk. She did like seeing cool rocks, fuzzy caterpillars, and the different birds. Caemlyn enjoyed the hike from her carrier and kept grabbing all the trees that she could reach.

And here is my new car. Finally sold the Honda and got my suburban.

Ben had a really busy tour last week at work. I think they got about 19 calls in one day which is a lot of calls to go on. But, he made it on the news for one of the calls. Ben is the one facing away from the camera.

Tea Party!

For playgroup last week, we went to Party in a Pinch where the kids got to dress up, got their nails painted, got their hair done, and other fun things. Addi had a lot of fun.

Our trip to Spokane

One tip when traveling with small children: Book a direct flight or a flight with very little layover time. Trying to entertain my very busy kids for 3 1/2 hours while sitting in the Denver airport (with no naps) is not very fun. And having to do it twice is crazy!

We just got back from visiting Ben's family up in Spokane, WA. Ben's sister and brother also flew in and surprised their mom for mother's day. We had a lot of fun while we were there. I know the girls loved spending time with grandma, grandpa, and their aunts and uncles. If you haven't been to Spokane, it is very pretty there. I really liked it there and now need to convince Ben to move there...

Spokane has a very cool hands-on children's museum, the girls had a lot of fun playing there.

Addi thought it was cool that this place had costumes that you could wear. And Cam loves elmo so she was excited when elmo showed up.

Cam actually happy! She would throw a tantrum if I took her out of this little hut.

We also went to riverfront park in downtown spokane. Addi liked walking on these blocks.

We also went on the gondolas to see the waterfalls. Ben's mom, dad, Bob, Nate, and Addi were in this one.

We went to Silverwood amusement park, which was fun. Lauren and Addi loved the roller coaster that they could go on.

I do not do spinning rides and I was nice and went on one with Ben that went in all directions. I almost puked so I made them stop the ride early. To make it up to Ben, I went on the other ride that he wanted to go on...the raft ride that gets you soaked. Mariah and I got soaked and it was very cold. Addi did not enjoy the ride and getting soaked.
