Pumpkin Patch

Addi had a field trip with her preschool to the pumpkin patch today. She was very excited to be able to pick out her own pumpkin and carry it herself. Cam wasn't too sure about the whole thing. She didn't want to carry her own pumpkin, but she did like to throw it a lot!

This is what I have been busy with...I just finished designing a website for my aunt's new company. I am learning a lot about web design and really enjoyed making this website, so I wanted to share it. There may be some small changes still, but I'll just say that it is done!

Carless No More

Ben and I changed the starter yesterday and my car is running beautifully! Hooray!! Ben took the starter out and he was so nice to let me put it back in (I wanted to do it). So with his help and patience, I put the new starter in. And after doing that, I don't think Ben will ever want my help again, because I did not make a very good mechanic...I will continue to let Ben and his Dad do that.

Totally Carless...and frustrated!!

I have been totally carless for a week now. Thats right, our big red rig is sad and broke...again. First a flat tire and now this! I went out last week to go somewhere and the car wouldn't start. I had to go out the next morning, when Ben got home, and buy a new starter.

The new starter sat in the box on my counter for 5 days...then Ben decided to change it Friday night when we got home from soccer (in the dark). It turns out we (we as in I) got the wrong starter for it so I get to go purchase the correct part today. It is a little frustrating!! But, we are lucky that we have another car to drive around...too bad for me that Ben is working this week at the station and taking that other car! At least he is home every other day.

All Bundled Up!

That's right...52 degrees!! (Can you tell that I am tired of the heat?!)

It has actually been kinda chilly here for the past couple of days. It is such a nice change from the heat, which makes you melt every time you step outside. I know it is suppose to be back in the 90s the rest of the week, but it is still chilly in the mornings! We will probably bundle up in our sweaters at 7 in the morning...go outside...then change back into our shorts and t-shirts for the rest of the day.

Enjoying the cold weather! (and yes, 52 degrees is cold...I don't think I can handle anything below that)

Cool site for kids' hairdos

So I found this site called Hair Today. I thought I would share it in case you need some new hairdo ideas for your kids. I know I do!! Actually my kids are very lucky if their hair gets brushed every day :) Ever since I chopped Addi's hair to her shoulders, her hair is actually manageable, which is so nice! So sad...this is what Caemlyn usually looks like...hair in the face and mouth all day long!!

Maybe if I fixed it, she wouldn't get things stuck in her hair like this!
