We've moved!

After a LONG 4 months in limbo, we finally received word that we are moving to Kennewick, Washington. Ben was offered a job as a firefighter/medic with the Kennewick Fire Dept. We are very excited for this new adventure for our family. I did take pictures on the big road trip up to Washington, but my camera was lost along the way somewhere. Sad day! For the time being, I only have pictures from cell phones.

We felt so loved from our friends in Arizona. I think we had three going away parties, one was a surprise for me. We have the best of friends in Red Rock. Our family definitely grew a lot from living in Arizona and we will never forget our time there. We loved living in Red Rock and being in the Red Rock ward. Such amazing people live there!

We started our new journey on Sunday, April 15th and after driving thru Las Vegas, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon, we finally arrived in Washington on Wednesday, April 18th. My kids loved staying in hotels. They were all awesome on such a long car trip. Ben, Addi, and Cam rode in the Uhaul. I drove the van with Brooklyn and our dog, Roxie. I was so sick from a horrible sinus infection which kept getting worse on the road and turned into fever with chills and aches. I don't recommend moving or traveling when you feel so sick! Thanks to my awesome sister for suggesting to take the best medicine, Allegra-D :)

Our Uhaul and van were stuffed full. After 6 hours unloading the Uhaul into our storage unit, while trying to entertain 3 children, we headed up to Spokane. The girls and I will be living in Spokane while Ben is at the fire academy for the next 3 months. He drove to Kennewick yesterday to start today. This is the easy week! Addison also started school. She was so excited to have a new class. Some kids from church are in her class too.

We were able to go on a date before Ben left town

Day with Aunt Marjory

We got to spend the morning with Marjory. We went to the zoo and ate at one of our favorite restaurants, Swensen's. The girls had a lot fun hanging out with their Aunt. It was very nice to see her one more time before we leave.
