After a long 3 months, Ben has graduated from the State of Washington Fire Academy!! He really enjoyed the other recruits that he was able to work with for the past 3 months. He finished top in his class (tied for first actually). I am so proud of all of his hard work and his accomplishments!! We drove over to Seattle area to attend his graduation. His Mom, stepdad, Dad, and brother, Nate, were able to come which was really nice. Ben gave a great speech at the graduation. Ben works on Monday and then we will be moving all of our stuff to Kennewick on the 1st of August. We are looking forward to be together again!

Camping Day 4: Last day!
Final post! This camping trip only took four different posts. Scroll down if you want to see the other days :)
On Friday, we just relaxed and hung around the campground. The girls made friends with our neighbors that had kids their ages so they were entertained. On the drive home on Saturday, we stopped by the Portland Temple. We went to the visitor's center and walked around the temple grounds. It was beautiful!

My awesome travelers!
Camping Day 3: Silver Falls
WARNING: Picture overload!! I took lots of pictures on this hike. We went to Silver Falls State Park and hiked the whole loop. It was an 8.7 mile hike. It had hills and stairs to climb! We started at the South Falls entrance and made our way around. This was the longest that my girls have ever hiked. They may or may not be a little traumatized from hiking this far. I think the phrase "I will never hike again" was said a few times. We will have to hike this again when we bring Ben here. The hike was awesome and the scenery was beautiful. We saw 9 of the 10 waterfalls. We were able to walk behind three of the waterfalls. The girls did enjoy seeing all the waterfalls. They were awesome hikers!!
Still happy at the first waterfall
Looking at a tree with a hole in it
Eating lunch by the river
Double Falls was Addison's favorite
Taking a rest
Ben expressed some concern about our children's safety on this hike. I reassured him that I only had to save Brooklyn once from falling off the edge (True story)
The North Falls and the last one
My happy hikers at the end!
