Halloween activites

We had a fun Halloween. The girls were very cute witches. Addi kept trying to decide if she was a nice witch or a mean witch. I made the girls matching black and pink tutus to wear with their costumes. The night before Halloween, we went to the elementary school's trunk-or-treat. Ben was working, but we found some friends to hang out with. On Halloween, we went to our ward's Halloween carnival. The girls had lots of fun playing games and winning prizes. I was able to take the girls trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Ben stayed home with Brooklyn and passed out candy.

Pumpkin Patch

Caemlyn and I were able to go to the pumpkin patch with Addison's preschool. Caemlyn liked the hayride, but did not like walking around the field. Addi loved being with all of her friends.

Disney on Ice

We were so lucky to get some tickets to Disney on Ice (Thanks Julie!). I surprised the girls. They had no idea what was going on until the show started, it was so cute! My sister, Marjory, was able to go with us. She was a huge help with the girls. The girls kept yelling hello to all the characters and loved seeing the real characters. We loved it and will go again next year!

Addi was waiting and waiting for Tinker Bell to come out. When she saw her, she said "Mommy, that is the real Tinker Bell. I can't believe I am seeing the real Tinker Bell." She was adorable!

Camping adventure

We went camping in Show Low, AZ a few weeks ago. Once we got to the campground, it was fun. Driving there was not as fun. About 30 minutes into the trip, we had a blowout...not a flat tire...a blow out!! Good thing highway patrol pulled over to help us, because we did not have a tire iron to change the flat. Then the drive ended up having lots of steep mountain hills and I did not think Ben's bus was going to make it. It almost didn't make it! We also hit lots of construction traffic and were stopped for awhile. We did have lots of fun. And I am so happy that the bus made it! The drive home was a lot better!! The girls loved camping. It was very cold at night. Ben was so nice and kept waking up to turn on the space heater to keep the girls warm. Brooklyn was a good little camper too!

And we are off!

Three reasons...

Three reasons why I love my home state....PENNSYLVANIA!

Reason #1: Hoagies from Wawa (so much better than Subway or anything Arizona has to offer)

Reason #2: TastyKakes...need I say more?!

Reason #3: GREEN!!!

Trip out east :)

Brooklyn and I were so lucky to be able to go to Maryland and Pennsylvania and visit my two sisters. My one sister and I sewed a lot, and made some cute things! Brooklyn got to meet her some of her cousins. And I got to see my newest niece, Riley (who is only 3 days older than Brooklyn). We had lots of fun. Brooklyn was so good on the flights there. On the way back, my 2 hour flight to Dallas turned into a 5 hour flight. Brooklyn and I were definitely done flying. When we finally landed in Dallas, thankfully we were able to get on an earlier flight so we didn't have to have any layovers. That was nice!

My husband is amazing!! Again, my husband watched Addi and Cam while I was gone. The girls had a blast with their daddy. He took them camping and they had lots of fun.
