My MIL, the girls, and I gave Brooklyn a bath today. She wasn't quite sure that she liked it in the beginning, but then she decided that she liked it.

Going to the zoo and the 4th

Before Brooklyn was born, Marjory and I took the girls to the zoo. They loved it! They got to feed the giraffes and play at the splash park.












We had lots of fun on the fourth. We went to Marjory and Joseph's house ate yummy mexican food for dinner. And had smores for dessert. The girls really liked roasting marshmellows outside over the fire. Here is the only picture that I took :)

Ben and I went to the hospital on the 8th at 7:30am. Everything went really well in the hospital. I pushed for less than 5 minutes. Ben even got to help deliver Brooklyn. All the nurses and staff at the hospital were awesome. We were very happy with everything.

I know Brooklyn is only two days old, but she has been the easiest baby so far. She is always very happy and laid back. She has only cried when the nurses were poking and touching her. She did not like it all. But, she never cries for family. I like that! My recovery has also been going really well.

Marjory and Joseph watched the girls for us while we were in the hospital. The girls had so much fun with their favorite aunt and uncle. Thanks again :)

Now the girls are having fun with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Bob. They love having Grandma taking care of them.

Addison and Caemlyn really love the new baby. When Caemlyn first saw the baby, she said "Let me have it". I think she thought Brooklyn was a baby doll. Then she tried to poke Brooklyn's eyes open. She did not want them closed. Addison loves to hold the baby all the time and help with everything. It is really cute.

We are definitely enjoying the new addition to our family. We have been so blessed!!

I have a new niece!

I have a new niece :) My sister and her husband had a little girl on Sunday. Her name is Riley Marie. Congratulations!! I thought it was really cool to be pregnant at the same time as my oldest sister. It will be nice that our two babies will only be a few days apart. Too bad we do not live close to each other. Only one more day for me...

Mark your calendars...or I will just mark mine :)

The big day is on JULY 8, 2009 at 7:30am. I am scheduled to be induced on that day. I just have to call the hospital the night before and the morning of to make sure they have room for me...hopefully they will have room!

We are very excited and very ready! Addison is now counting the days down until Wednesday. I just have one last doctor appointment on Monday. At my last appointment, I was 2 cm dilated. But, still no real contractions. Even hiking Picacho Peak, no real contractions.

Hiking Picacho Peak

A couple of days ago, we decided to go hike Picacho Peak. We like that it is very close to our house. Before we went, Addison kept telling me that she does not like hiking and did not want to go. But, because we are mean parents, we made her go. And she loved it. She actually cried when I got too tired to hike anymore and wanted to turn around. Ben was so nice and kept hiking with her for a little bit longer, while Caemlyn and I took a rest.
