A day in Kennewick

Ben had a four day weekend this weekend...yes!! Unfortunately, that means that his weekend next week is short to make up for this holiday so he won't be able to come home (11 days without seeing Ben will be hard). We decided to spend the day in Kennewick. This is the first time that the girls and I have seen any of the tri-cities aside from driving through on our way to Spokane.

We went to the castle park (as my kids call it), the temple and then we drove around and looked at different parts of town. It was a nice family day together.

We have been enjoying our time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Addison is going to the elementary school right down the street. She loves it and is making lots of friends. Caemlyn and Addison are in swim lessons at the YMCA. Brooke, Cam and I are keeping busy going to the Y every morning, library trips and learning our way around Spokane. I have been getting sewing done and now I am organizing my MIL's craft room with my SIL, Mariah. Ben was a huge help in the construction and layout of the room. Here are some random pictures I have taken during our time here for the past month. Only 60 more days of the academy then we will have Ben back!!
