Moving is exciting!

Moving over slowly is not easier than moving all at once. It might be me and my unorganized skills, but it has just caused stress and headaches these past two weeks. The stress of moving has just been lingering instead of just getting it done on one day. I am happy to turn in my apartment keys today and concentrate on putting my house together and unpacking. We are loving our new house!!

This is what I am living in right now...

The first night in our house, Ben discovered that if we stand at the half wall, look out the window, and squint a little, we can see the top of the temple.

Coyote Howl

Our school has a yearly carnival-type event that they call the Coyote Howl. Games, food, prizes! The girls had a great time going for their first time.

Mommy Time!

EFY together

This is my amazing best friend (or as I say bestie), Bianca. We have known each other for 16 years! Even though we live miles apart, nothing has changed in our friendship. I love that! We talk almost daily. Thanks to my wonderful husband, I was able to go visit her in Tennessee kid-free. I had such a great time spending time with her and her beautiful family. I am so grateful for her wonderful friendship and so glad she is in my life!

Being awesome and trying on some great dresses :)

I was able to snuggle this baby for a week. Cutest baby!

I was able to play with this boy all week. He makes me laugh!

Our friend, Sara, was able to come visit while I was there. We have known her our whole lives too!

Moving...again!

A year ago, we made the biggest move of our marriage. It was the hardest move for me. I cried for days before the move, on the drive up to Washington, and for months after the move. We left behind an amazing ward, neighborhood, friends, and family. I made some lasting friendships in Arizona and will be forever grateful for the six years we lived there. This year has gone quickly. We are in another amazing ward and have made some great friends.

Now we are moving again, but it is only 10 minutes from where we live now and we are homeowners! We are sad to leave the area that we are in and our ward, but excited to be in a home and not an apartment (even though they are very nice apartments).

Badger Mountain

We hiked one of the hills in Kennewick called Badger Mountain. It was a fun hike with some great views.

My awesome family!

My girls love the Beck Family. They always have fun playing with them. I am glad they were able to hike with us.

Trip to Seattle

The good thing about doctor appointments in Seattle for Brooklyn is that my sister recently moved there, so I get to see her! We had a short visit with my sister and her husband. We had a great time! We saw part of Pike Place Market and the aquarium. Brooklyn loved finding all of the cats at Aunt Marjory's house.

Santa and his reindeer

I keep winning the battle about getting a real tree for Christmas. I really love Christmas and want a real tree with the awesome smell! Last night we took the girls to pick out a tree. We also were able to visit Santa and he brought two of his reindeer with him. Ben and I thought the reindeer were very cool. Caemlyn would not go near the reindeer and she was a little scared of Santa. Addison was good with both. My no-fear child, Brooklyn, loved the reindeer and Santa.
